FOOTBALL!

Even though I am a girl and love pretty things, I LOVE football!  I grew up watching it with my dad, at the age of three.  My dad says that I know more about the game than most guys, I am not forsure if he is right about that (I hope so!), but I do love the sport! I love going and watching my friends play (my friend plays for our highschool) and watching college and pro football.  I am a HUGE Bears fan and support them, even when our star quarterback, Jay, gets hurt :(. 

However, my favorite football player of all time, is quarterback for Denver Broncos- Tim Tebow.  His heart for the Lord is so amazing.  It is so refreshing to see someone who not only talks the talk, but WALKS to walk! I am reading his autobiography, Through My Eyes, right now and am loving all of his stories, his honesty, and most of all, his clear passion for Christ.  He is such a role model, and when I have boys I hope that they can look to him to be their sports role model.  I know that He is human, he will face temptation, but as it says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "¹³ No temptation^[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted^[b] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,^[c] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

I believe God has great plans for Tim, on and off the field! I cannot wait to see what those plans are, and how God uses Tim's life to impact others!

If you think about it, pray for Tebow that God will protect him from situations of temptation, and that he will remain steadfast in His (the Lord's) great grace.  Also, that He will be able to spread God's love to people who need to hear the Good News.
